I’m Robert. With over 16 years in IT, I’ve spent my career at the intersection of technology and people. I specialise in leading teams to design, deploy, and maintain complex systems, ensuring they behave in a way that is simple, secure, and reliable for the humans who use them.
I hold a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and two bachelor’s degrees: one in Information Technology (B.Sc. IT) and another in Theory of Classical Music (B.Mus). Speaking business, binary and Bach has turned out to be surprisingly useful. This blend of academic background in business, technology, and the arts, together with the technical and professional experiences gained throughout the years, allows me to approach any challenge with a multi-perspective, data-oriented mindset. At my core, I’m driven by the belief that technology should serve people, not the other way around.
Operating from a place of genuine curiosity, I’m a mentor, student, creator, leader, and a listener who finds peace in the pages of a good book or the keys of a piano.
I keep finding myself reading about philosophy and psychology, trying to improve how I experience the world. I care deeply about lifelong learning, systems thinking and mentoring and am always looking for ways to make things better than I found them
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me immersed in music, somewhere between classical, rock, jazz and blues. When I need to reset, I step away from the screens and sit at the piano, getting lost in the worlds of Chopin, Mozart or Beethoven.
