This page uses Google Analytics for basic visit counts (page views, browser/device, approximate location) — that's a standard anonymous site-traffic measurement, not anything about your highlights.
Clicking "Fetch cover" asks this site's own cover-proxy.php to fetch that book's Goodreads page and read its cover image — no third-party service is involved, and it needs a PHP-capable host to work.
If you switch on the optional AI tagging in Settings, your highlights and your own API key go directly from your browser to OpenRouter — nothing passes through this site.
